Chapter 1 About the project

This project focuses on analyzing prostate cancer patients’ experience with genomic testing. A questionnaire was developed to collect patients’ knowledge, expectations, concerns, attitudes, and motivations before and after performing genomic testing.
This is the complete book with the whole prostate cancer patient’s expectations project analysis. Part I describe briefly the background and study design, Part II is focused on the first steps of importing and cleaning both datasets (code is omitted), and then Part III and IV are dedicated to the complete analysis of the VHIO and HOPE questionnaires. Finally, Part V presents a summary with the most relevant findings and the general description performed with the final set of items selected.
